This week I bring you the graduating class of 2011 from H. Hardcastle School. This year we had 10 young people moving on to further their education or into the work force.

With the end of the school year it is time to say goodbye to a few faces as they take new paths next year.

Battlefords Family Health Centre's Community Garden Project 2011 opened its garden season June 14 with a garden blessing event. BFHC has undertaken a diabetes prevention approach through the community garden project.

His Eminence Metropolitan Yurij Kalistchuk recently presided over a service marking a 75th parish anniversary at the Descent of Holy Ghost Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Hafford.

"Transmitting Light" is the exhibition in the Window Salon at the Chapel Gallery during the month of July.

Maymont School held a variety night May 19. There were several dance items, songs, a choir presentation, video presentation and an improvisational drama act. The program concluded with a video tribute to the principal, Bill Brand.
