Marjorie Alice (Earl) Shirley was born on December 11, 1915 in Regina and passed away on March 21, 2014 in Moosomin, Saskatchewan at the age of 98.

Today, the Department of Public Works and Engineering is digging on the 1700 block of 98th Street for a suspected leaking main stop. Water will be shut off on the 1700 block of 98th for most of the day starting around 9:00am.

The 1100 block of 101st Street is open once again after a water main repair. Today, the City will be digging a leaking curb stop on the 1300 block of 98th Street. The block will be barricaded off for most of the day.

In mid-December the Carlyle Chamber of Commerce launched their very first website and after three months chamber president Martin Tourand says they now plan to go more in-depth with the website.

Carlyle Elementary School found themselves promoting a healthy lifestyle as they participated in the Heart and Stroke Foundation's Jump Rope for Heart, a program where youth collect pledges for heart disease and stroke research.

Marshall Delorme and Andrew Kehler recently competed on the 麻豆视频 Sask Selects Football Teams. Delorme participated on the U16 team, while Kehler represented Carlyle talent on the U13 team.
