Congratulations to the Howe's Angels who won the First Annual Advisory Group Tug of War Challenge. They "cowboyed up" and showed some serious power throughout the competition. Thanks to Mrs. Rutten and the SLT for their continued school spirit building successes.
Badminton season is here! Juniors have practice on Mondays and Wednesdays after school while seniors have practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:00 PM.
On the last Thursday of the month, students from the G.F. Kells High School will be out in the community for 2 hours after school (3:15-5:15). They will be volunteering their time to make our community a better, cleaner place. If you would like some extra help, we are here for you. Please contact Miss Wiebe via email: [email protected] with your ideas for Day of Help!
With the emphasis on reading in our school, and the push to fill the shelves with new reading material, our fiction collection has grown to more than 4,000! The recent popularity of apocalyptic and "zombie" books has resulted in many new titles. New books are currently being displayed in the library. There is definitely something for every interest and level. Book requests can be brought to Mrs. Richardson.
