A quote, posted above my computer, and an article I recently read, prompted these thoughts.

How do you spell 2020? Well, for the Carlyle Novice Cougars (Chris) it starts with a W. On Jan. 4 the Cougars opened the regular season with a 16-13 win over Kipling.

The Cougars ended 2019 with a record of 6-7-0, giving them 12 points and in 5th place in the standings. The Cougars had three games before the Christmas break and they started in Kipling on the Dec. 20.
