McMillan nominated again in Lloydminster

Lloydminster MLA Tim McMillan has joined the list of nominated candidates for the 2011 provincial election. McMillan was nominated at the nomination meeting for the riding, held at the Milleton Community Hall Aug. 5.

A portion of 100th Street had to be cordoned off briefly Monday after an afternoon collision between a motorcycle and another vehicle. The incident happened at the intersection of 100th Street and 12th Avenue.

Charges laid in Leoville for break and enter

Two suspects have been apprehended and a third is still on the run after another break and enter targeting an ATM machine, this time in Leoville, north of Spiritwood. The RCMP received a report at approximately 2:50 a.m.

Two accidents Sunday had emergency crews busy on the weekend in the city. The first collision took place at the intersection of 15th Avenue and 97th Street in North Battleford around 1:54 p.m. On the scene two vehicles were involved.
