The Capitol Theatre in downtown North Battleford has announced it is temporarily closing, again. This was not an easy decision, they stated at their Facebook page.

N.B. man gets 20 months in prison for child luring
A North Battleford man was given a 20-month prison sentence for child luring. Oakley Blackstar, 63, was sentenced in Saskatoon Provincial Court on April 6. Charges of sexual assault and child porn were stayed.
