EPS executed a search warrant at a local hotel after a man and woman from BC were arrested for drug trafficking offences during a traffic stop.

The Weyburn RCMP has been notified that two trucks and a Black Polaris 1999 snow machine was taken from a site south of Stoughton.

During the search, Serayne Kematch’s dad learned about a suspicious vehicle with three males who had blood on their clothes, and about drag marks in a nearby ditch.

The EPS responded to 607 calls for service in September, up 18 from the 589 they had in September 2023.

At around 11 p.m. on Sept. 5, police were called to the area of Lorne Avenue and Ruth Street East for a report of a stabbing.

In September of 2024, the Saskatchewan ICE Unit commenced an online investigation relating to child pornography.

As a result of investigation, the following evidentiary seizures were made: $2,655 CAD; 97 grams of cocaine powder; and 2010 Lincoln MKX.

Canora/Sturgis were dispatched to multiple calls for a disturbance in Canora.  Police attended the scene and learned there was a dispute over money owed for a cat.

The vehicle was found on its roof with no occupants inside.

A total of one video and 488 pictures of child pornography were found on the accused's phone by police.
