Police search for persons of interest following stabbing

At around 11 p.m. on Sept. 5, police were called to the area of Lorne Avenue and Ruth Street East for a report of a stabbing.

SASKATOON - The Saskatoon Police Service is requesting public assistance in identifying or locating four persons of interest in an aggravated assault investigation.

At around 11 p.m. on Sept. 5, police were called to the area of Lorne Avenue and Ruth Street East for a report of a stabbing. Preliminary investigation determined that an altercation had occurred between two men, age 46 and 48, and a group of persons unknown to them, resulting in both victims being stabbed; their injuries were non-life-threatening.

Through ongoing investigation, members of the Serious Assault Unit are requesting public assistance in identifying and/or locating four persons of interest believed to have been involved.

Anyone with information regarding the identity or whereabouts of the persons of interest, or with information otherwise believed to be relevant is asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers.
