On Thursday, Kevin Witchekan was sentenced to life in prison – with parole eligibility in 10 years – for a Saskatoon man's death. In May 2014, he was sentenced to five years in prison for an Edmonton man's death.

The inmate was found unresponsive on a living unit at Pine Grove Correctional Centre.

Members of the Serious Assault Unit are investigating.

Report of fatal accident on Feb. 2 in the industrial area

A vehicle driving south of Canora swerved and crossed the centre line. RCMP located and found the driver was sober but was impacted by lack of sleep.
