Starting Oct. 1, 2015, the Yorkton Public Library will be opening at 9 a.m. Monday-Friday. --- The Yorkton branch of the Saskatchewan Genealogical Society holds their regular meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.

The Harvard 606 Air Cadet Squadron held an annual registration and information evening at the Preeceville Legion Hall on September 8. It was held in conjunction with the Town of Preeceville registration and informational evening.
