An outdoors enthusiast who loves to sew is the new home economics teacher at the Kamsack Comprehensive Institute. Barbara Tanner was hired to succeed AnnaLee Parnetta, the school鈥檚 home economics teacher for several years, who has moved to Yorkton.

The granddaughter of a well-known and long-serving Kamsack medical doctor has joined the staff of the Kamsack Comprehensive Institute Cara Shabatoski, daughter of Terri and Delmar Reilkoff of Kamsack and granddaughter of the late Dr.

Jennie Emond of Preeceville has a passion for flowers and gardening finding the activity as not only very therapeutic for her, but knowing that flowers offer an added community attraction.

Two little pumpkin plants planted carefully in Mary Pasiechnik鈥檚 garden in Preeceville have taken on a life on their own. The two plants have grown to epic proportions and have now scaled the hedge and are creeping quickly to the street.
