The Weyburn Red Wings dropped their third straight loss in the past week to the Notre Dame Hounds Tuesday night in front of a hometown crowd of 700 people.

The Eagle Drilling Estevan Bruins edged the Melfort Mustangs in a shootout last night to win their second road game in as many nights.

With one win and one loss in two home games over the weekend, the Eagle Drilling Estevan Bruins were able to gain some ground in the Sherwood Conference standings. Heading into play on Friday, the fourth place Bruins trailed Weyburn by four points.
