Although COVID-19 means that we can鈥檛 stay together, that doesn鈥檛 mean that we have to be apart.

A talented musician from southeast Saskatchewan who has performed in the Estevan area on many occasions has taken top spot in the Best Saskatchewan Albums of the Year contest, organized by SaskMusic.

Estevan area residents were treated to a drive-in concert courtesy of Saskatchewan country music singer Justin LaBrash on Saturday.

An acclaimed Saskatchewan country musician will be in Estevan for a drive-in concert on Dec. 19. Justin LaBrash and his band True North will be performing their Jingle Bell Rock show at the Affinity Place parking lot at 3 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.

Entry submissions are being sought for the annual James Weir People鈥檚 Choice exhibit, which is known as the longest running art exhibit of its kind in Western Canada.

Artist Crystal Thorburn鈥檚 show Botanicals: Disrupted is on show at the Shurniak Gallery, running from Nov. 3 to Feb. 26. 鈥淪o many things have shut down,鈥� Thorburn said.

The K-6 classes at Haig School will be performing an online version of a Christmas musical entitled, 鈥淗olly Jolly Jukebox鈥�, and have been busy rehearsing with music teacher Holly Butz.

TeleMiracle, a Saskatchewan鈥檚 Charity, announced the list of 75 talented Saskatchewan performers who are appearing on TeleMiracle 45, taking place on February 27 and 28, 2021.

Local children had the opportunity to learn through experiments while at the Estevan Public Library on Nov. 25 and 26. The Regional KidsFirst program brought a science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) session for pre-schoolers.
