Estevan area residents were treated to a drive-in concert courtesy of Saskatchewan country music singer Justin LaBrash on Saturday.
LaBrash, who has strong connections to the southeast region, took to the stage with his band True North for the show, which was held in the parking lot of Affinity Place. They sang some of their original songs and some popular Christmas music.
While temperatures were well above normal on Saturday, it was a windy day, but that didn’t stop LaBrash and his band from putting on a great show through his Jingle Bell Rock tour.
Between afternoon and evening shows, more than 100 vehicles were parked for the show. Fans watched the sets from their vehicles.
The concert was brought in by the Shop Estevan initiative, which is encouraging people to shop locally and support Estevan’s hospitality sector.
LaBrash has been a pioneer of the drive-in concerts this year.Â
