For the town of Carlyle, the year of 2010 proved to be another successful one in terms of business growth.

It was an exciting game for the Carlyle Cougars this past Sunday in Wawota. The play was fast paced and very enjoyable for the crowd to watch.

It's a true Happy New Year for Tara and Jason Duhaime. The Carlyle couple rang in the 2011 year with a $1 million LOTTO MAX win. "It was in disbelief," says Tara Duhaime.

She runs around the house throwing clothes, toys and necessities into the black duffle bag her parents gave her for Christmas. "For when you need it," her dad said, holding back tears.

A New Year has started and the staff and students of G.F. Kells are looking forward to a great 2011. Now that January is here, it means grade 10-12 final exams aren't far away. Students will be writing finals during the week of January 24th.
