Saskatoon Police Services seeks help from Unity RCMP locating missing person

Unity RCMP Detachment received two complaints of uttering threats, with one resulting in charges laid against a 40-year-old male, and the second complaint still under investigation.

Unity Report

RCMP received a report of harassing communications but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

CN Police reported a train blocking the railway crossing in a rural area near Landis. Reported for information purposes.

Members received a complaint of fraud. This matter is still under investigation.

CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction in Unity. Reported for information purposes.

RCMP received a complaint of theft. This matter is still under investigation.

Members received three requests from the Canadian Firearms Registry to check the firearms possession status of three individuals in the detachment area.

There were also three traffic complaints and two false 911 calls.

Wilkie Report

RCMP received a report of criminal harassment. This matter is still under investigation.

Members conducted a well-being check at the request of a provincial agency.

CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction near Reford. Reported for information purposes.

A 40-year-old Wilkie man was charged with uttering threats and mischief after members received a complaint of uttering threats.

Police received a complaint of uttering threats. This matter is still under investigation.

Members acted as mediators in a child custody dispute.

RCMP are investigating a complaint of assault.

Macklin Report

RCMP received a report of a single-vehicle rollover near Macklin. There were no injuries. Reported for insurance purposes.

Members conducted a well-being check at the request of a family friend.

Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members transported the subject of complaint to Battlefords Union Hospital for assessment.

Members received a request from Saskatoon Police Services to attempt to locate a missing person who may be in the Macklin area.
