At 10:30 p.m. Sept. 26 perpetrators attempted to steal a vehicle from a business in Lashburn. The theft was interrupted and the perpetrators were then seen fleeing in a white Ford Windstar van. Between Sept.

Long gun registry stays put

The long gun registry will remain in place, at least for now. In a vote Sept. 22 in Parliament, MPs voted 153-151 kill Candice Hoeppner's private member's bill to scrap the registry. That means the long gun registry remains in place.

Lights back on at Beaver Lions Stadium

The stadium lights at Beaver Lions Stadium in North Battleford are now repaired and back up and running as the fall football season goes into high gear. Repairs were needed after a pole switch blew in June.

Dumpster fire on 105th

North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services were back on the job battling a dumpster fire in the city, this time on 105th Street. The incident happened at 8:49 p.m. Sunday night.
