North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services were back on the job battling a dumpster fire in the city, this time on 105th Street.
The incident happened at 8:49 p.m. Sunday night. A fire broke out in a dumpster at the rear of a property in the 1300 block of 105th Street.
According to the fire department a quick response by fire crews prevented any damage to the surrounding fence. The fire was contained to the dumpster and extinguished quickly.
One fire apparatus and four personnel were on the scene to extinguish the blaze.
The fire department has been dealing with a rash of dumpster fires in the past month. Several dumpsters had been set on fire on a nightly basis in the area of 109th Street, with one suspect apprehended in connection to those incidents.
