Participants at the Maidstone Oilmen's Golf Tournament appreciated the appearance of the sun as they enjoyed their annual event, Friday, June 11 at Silver Lake Golf Course.

Electrical wire was stolen from an industrial yard in the Maidstone/Rush Lake area sometime between May 14 and 17. According to Lloydminster Rural RCMP perpetrators took the wire off six spools and left the spools behind.
