Volleyball season is slowly winding down at Maymont Central School. The junior teams finished at the end of October with trips to conference play downs.

Children, for the most part, are a source of happiness and wonder to their parents. For one local artist, her children are also her inspiration, as they amaze her with the creativity through which they view the world.

Approximately 200 people filled the Chapel Gallery Sunday afternoon to celebrate Canada Music Week and to pay tribute to one of the community's most influential and well-known musicians, Junice Headley.

Nov. 22, junior students performed their rendition of The Wizard of Oz. Nov. 19 and 20, 3A senior boys were attending regionals in Waldheim. The team will be hosting 3A senior boys' provincials Nov. 26 and 27.

"It takes teamwork to make this show beautiful, don't try this at home," said Mr. Zee as the African Acrobats delighted and amazed the students of Ratushniak Elementary School in Maidstone last week.

Three hundred people came together Saturday evening to show their support for Notre Dame Church at its first fundraising banquet, an event they hope to hold every two years.

With the support of the Saskatchewan Arts Board, Saskatchewan's White Birch Ballet Company will be coming to the Battlefords as the final stop on its five-city Ballet Across the Prairies tour. The company performs Saturday, Nov.
