Lil McMillan was to Edmonton for an eye appointment. Her daughters, Della and Darlene, took her there. Lil was saying the roads were like summer. No snow.

A family pet went missing from his back yard in North Battleford Nov 10. He was found Dec. 12 by Trent Ilett north of the city. Trent runs his dogs every day in the area where this dog was found.

This time of year, for personal reasons, has been a time of mixed emotions for me. Christmas was always a special time for my family and it centred on Christian principles that this country was formed around. The day of Dec.

The Christmas Holidays are coming quickly and the school days are winding down. The last day of school is Dec. 21 and to celebrate the oncoming holidays we will be having a turkey lunch for our students.

After years of fundraising and awareness-raising events, 45 students of St. Vital School were given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attend We Day 2011 in Winnipeg.

The Maymont Hall committee had a Christmas supper at the Maymont Hotel Dec. 8. Thanks to Dawn Gray and all her staff for the great supper and service. Special thanks to the cook, Murray Gray, who did the steaks.
