The bloodsuckers are back. This year is shaping up to be a bad one for mosquitoes in the Battlefords and surrounding area.

BODEN. On Wednesday, June 2, 2010, Herbert Boden of Nelson passed away at Mountain Lake Seniors Community, Nelson BC at the age of 97 years. Cremation has taken place at the Thompson Funeral Service Ltd. Crematorium.

ANNE LOUISE GILKER (SCOTT) born in Nelson on Sept. 29th 1917 passed away on June 2, 2010 in Kalso Victorian Hospital. She married Robert (Bob) Gilker in 1936 and they spent most of their lives in Kaslo.
