Eight-team atom tourney

The four Battlefords atom teams hosted their annual home tournament on the weekend and had four other teams attend. Winning the A final was Dinsmore over Hafford. The Battlefords Bruins lost to Wilkie in the B final.

Christmas Tree recycling encouraged

The City of North Battleford is encouraging residents to recycle their Christmas Trees once the holidays are over. Trees will be recycled into chips again this year, which will be used as mulch in tree and shrub beds.
