Preparedness was the watchword on the minds of municipal officials and emergency personnel from throughout the region Tuesday. A session on municipal emergency preparedness took place that afternoon at the Don Ross Centre in North Battleford.

Roaring snow machines liven up the village

This past weekend Meota was buzzing, snarling and roaring with the sound of the many snowmobiles that converged to take part in the Meota and District Recreation Association's annual snowmobile rally.
