The Battlefords Pee Wee AA Barons have moved on after winning Round 3 of the provincial playoffs over West Central.
They moved on following a 4-3 overtime win Wednesday night in Kindersley. They now take on Saskatoon in the next round.
The game at Kindersley did not get off to a great start for the Barons as they spotted West Central a 2-0 lead in the first.
But goals by Jayden Nachtegaele and Brandon Lesko tied it in the first period, and then Blake Oborowsky's unassisted marker early in the second period put the Barons ahead.
West Central tied it in the third period to force overtime. In the extra frame, Blake Fennig proved to be the hero, scoring unassisted at the 3:59 mark to give the Barons a 4-3 overtime win to advance in provincial action.
