BATTLEFORDS – Sask. RCMP’s North Battleford Crime Reduction Team (CRT) arrested three wanted people after getting a search warrant for a home in North Battleford on Nov. 21.
Officers had obtained the warrant to enter the home after they determined a 27-year-old woman who was wanted by Rocky Mountain House RCMP for a number of firearm and other offences, was there. Once inside, they found two other people wanted by Battlefords RCMP.
Lane Wuttunee, 27, was wanted for failing to comply with a release order, and Richard Lightfoot, 48, was wanted for break and enter.
The woman was transported back to Alberta for court.
Lightfoot is scheduled to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court on Dec. 1, and Wuttunee appears on Dec. 18.
The Saskatchewan Enforcement Response Team (SERT) consists of Saskatchewan RCMP's Crime Reduction Teams (CRT) and Warrant Enforcement Suppression Team (WEST), as well as the Saskatchewan Trafficking Response Team (STRT).
