YORKTON – On Tuesday, June 21, the Sask Band Association will be holding a rehearsal at the Yorkton Historic Flour Mill Park.
'Band in the Park' is a drop-in version open rehearsal featuring several guest directors conducting easy listening pop tunes for wind and percussion players, akin to an open jam session with music provided, according to an e-mail sent to Yorkton This Week from a member of the SBA.
SBA is asking anyone with an interest in the rehearsal to register for the event on their official website.
Those who sign up will automatically be sent an email with a link to the music and additional instructions.
The event is open to the public and show-goers are asked to bring a lawn chair for their own comfort.
