YORKTON – A 29-year-old Yorkton woman was arrested after a serious assault at a home on Bradbrooke Drive in Yorkton on April 17.
Yorkton RCMP say they were called to the residence at about 7 p.m. on that day. Officers responded right away and found an injured adult male outside and began administering first aid.
Officers located and arrested Sunries Cappo inside the residence. While executing a search warrant at the home, officers located and seized an edged weapon.
Cappo was charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, resist/obstruct peace officer, and failing to comply with a probation order.
Cappo made her first appearance in Yorkton Provincial Court on April 21.
