The second annual festival of trees encouraged individuals to take the time to appreciate what’s special during the busy Christmas season.

The Preeceville atoms, novices and midgets kicked off the hockey season with exhibition games. The atoms took to the ice first, taking on Wynyard on November 14. The game was evenly matched with both teams scoring one goal in the first period.

The students and staff at the Preeceville School joined schools across the province in recognition of the tolls of war and the soldiers who fought for freedom with a Remembrance Day ceremony on November 10.
