If you have been involved in the growing, or selling, of grain in Western Canada, you are likely quite familiar with the Port of Churchill.

The 1996 graduating class from Sturgis Composite High School hosted a 20-year anniversary on July 23 with 17 of 46 members in attendance. Classmates gathered for brief registration prior to a tour of the Sturgis School, said Kristen Peterson.

A town hall meeting was held July 20 at the Legion Hall to discuss the future of the Preeceville Hospital. The Preeceville and District Health Focus Group hosted the meeting which drew a crowd of roughly 200 people, said Stacey Strykowski.
