Walking good for physical and mental health

Members of the Preeceville Walking Club have been walking for the betterment of their physical and mental health, beginning on November 2. The group plans to conclude its season at the end of March.

鈥淲alking is one of the best exercises for all age groups and it is free,鈥 said Eugene Boychuk, one of the organizers of the Sturgis indoor walking program. The Sturgis indoor walking program kicked off for another season on November 3.

Richardson Pioneer said it was pleased to support the Preeceville Arena with a gift of $75,000 to help replace the roof and upgrade the aging facility. The Arena will be renamed Richardson Pioneer Skating Arena.
