The Town of Preeceville is initiating a planning review project to adopt a new official community plan and a new zoning bylaw to 鈥渂etter guide development within our community,鈥� said Lorelei Karcha, administrator.

The Preeceville Boars basketball team won the 2016-2017 All-Filipino Championship in winter basketball tournament organized by the Parkland Filipino Canadian Association Inc. (PFCAI) held at Dr. Brass School in Yorkton.

The Kelvington 4-H Beef club held its public speaking competition on March 5 at the Kelvington High School. 鈥淭he cloverbuds, junior and intermediate club members all participated in the event,鈥� said Blake Zagrodney, club reporter.

Preeceville and area residents gathered in front of the Legislative Building in Regina on March 8 to protest the cutbacks being faced at the Preeceville and District Health Centre.

Families were encouraged during the month of February to spend quality time together in a program sponsored by the Family Resource Centre as a fun way for families to participate in an activity challenge contest.

The Preeceville School Grade 12 class participated in a cardiopulmonary resuscitation, (CPR) and first aid course sponsored by the Canora Ambulance on March 9 and 10.

The Preeceville atoms hockey team concluded its season of league games with a win at home in Preeceville on March 10 against Melville with a win of 6 to 2.
