Preeceville School students participated in and received winning ribbons in the Solestice Classic track-and-field meet held at the Yorkton Regional High School on May 13.

The Open Doors play, which is based on The Open Window, written by Saki and adapted by Jane O'Reilly, was performed by the Preeceville School students. It was performed by the students for their fellow classmates and other school students on May 11.

The Preeceville and District Heritage Museum is getting ready to open for another busy season. "We will officially open on May 24," said Agnes Murrin, president. "The public is welcome and we will be serving tea and coffee and other goodies.

Five young local hockey players recently had the opportunity to play with the AAA Sask. Knights spring hockey team which won gold in the Alberta Champions Cup held in Calgary on April 28 to 30.

The women of the Preeceville St. John Lutheran Church continued with the challenge of making a difference in the world by creating 100 quilts that will comfort those in a time of need.
