The Preeceville Panthers football team made a grand effort but came up short to end its football season. The 32-22 loss ended the Panthers season when the Porcupine Plain Bears defeated Preeceville in a home playoff game on October 12.

The Preeceville LTC (Long Term Care) auxiliary hosted the annual Region 6 Rally with six auxiliaries in attendance. The rally was held at the Preeceville Club 60 on September 20. The theme for the rally was Let's Be Happy with Who We Are.
