This week, we are happy to report that Edith Simle is feeling much better after a bout in the hospital this fall.

Sympathy of the Dubuc Community is extended to the family of Matthew Smith who passed away November 5 after he lost a two month battle to recover from severe burns he received, while working in his shop.

Congratulations to the Bredenbury Cougar team in winning their last two hockey games against Langenburg and Rocanville. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported the Church Craft Show despite the icy road conditions and weather.

Congratulations to Lacey Polk and Adam Tuffs of Melville on the birth of their daughter Brynlee Rae Tuffs. She weighed 7 lbs and 14¾ ounces. Brynlee was born on August 22 at the Yorkton Regional Hospital.

Saltcoats Library takes this opportunity to thank Michelle Easton for her time given to Library Week with her demonstration of photo enhancing on computer, as well as Ruth Partridge for the display and expertise with quilting.

A baby shower was held at the Busy Bees on Saturday for "Nicholas Kevin Janett," son of Lee and Brenna Janett.

Well, the school year has started up again. The students and staff at the Calder School have a busy year. The Grade 2 to 8 students will be taking in some Track and Field meets.
