Co-ordinators and organizers for the second annual Preeceville Spring Expo are gearing up for another successful show with over 70 booths booked.

Dave Hearn of Preeceville won $1,000, the main prize, at the fourth annual ice-fishing derby sponsored by the Buchanan branch of the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation on March 13.

The month of March was busy for the residents of the long-term care wing of the Preeceville Health Centre. There were many activities and events hosted by many volunteer helpers.

The Trinity United Church Players have been busy rehearsing so that they can entertain audiences with Nothing but the Truth. The drama production is scheduled for April 29 in Stenen, April 30 in Sturgis and is to conclude in Preeceville on May 1.

During the week prior to Easter (March 21 to 24), the Preeceville and District Ministerial Association hosted the Holy Week noon hour bagged lunches program.

The Preeceville Atom Pats Atoms won the A banner in front of a packed home-town crowd on March 22.

Many residents had family home for the Easter celebration or travelled to their family. Visiting Dave and Gloria Herron for the Easter break was Tyson Herron their grandson from Regina.
