Four charged with trafficking cocaine released on bail in Saskatoon court

After bail hearings today and yesterday, Klyd Macarae Palisoc, Raphael Andres Salvador, Rene Ray Ganancial, and Jade Gatin Pojol were released

SASKATOON – Four men charged in a drug bust in Saskatoon were released on bail.

Three of the accused were granted bail Oct. 14 and one was released Oct. 13 after appearing in Saskatoon Provincial Court.

Klyd Macarae Palisoc, 26, from Winnipeg, Raphael Andres Salvador, 28, from Saskatoon, and Rene Ray Ganancial, 24, from Edmonton, were released today. Jade Gatin Pojol, 22, of Saskatoon was released yesterday. The details of what is said during bail hearings can’t be published.

Saskatoon Police Drug Unit charged the four men after an investigation into cocaine trafficking. According to police, the four men were arrested in two separate traffic stops where they seized cocaine, four cell phones, and about $2,000 in cash.

A fifth man, who is 32, was arrested in the 100 block of Wakaw Crescent where police seized approximately $13,000 cash, 1,791 grams of cocaine, 7.3 grams of psilocybin, four pounds of cannabis and drug paraphernalia. As of Oct. 14, no charges have been laid against him, according to Saskatoon Police.

Ganancial is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession of psilocybin, two counts of possession of the proceeds of crimes, and two charges under the Cannabis Act. 

Palisoc is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession of a weapon (brass knuckles), and carrying a concealed weapon. 

Pojol and Salvador are charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, two counts of possession of the proceeds of crime, possession of psilocybin, and two charges under the Cannabis Act. 

Palisoc and Salvador appear next in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Nov. 16. Ganancial appears on Oct. 28 and Pojol appears on Nov. 17.
