Federowich Construction awarded 2015 paving contract

At a special meeting on June 8, Canora town council accepted a tender from Federowich Construction Ltd. to do the town’s proposed paving for 2015. Federowich Construction’s bid was $901,180.20 and the work was to have begun on June 15.

At a special meeting on June 8, Canora town council accepted a tender from Federowich Construction Ltd. to do the town’s proposed paving for 2015. Federowich Construction’s bid was $901,180.20 and the work was to have begun on June 15.

During the June 16 meeting, Connie Lehky and Randall Hoeber of White Spruce Provincial Training Federowich Construction awarded 2015 paving contract Centre met with council to discuss changes to the facility’s program and the availability of centre residents to do volunteer work.

Council gave its approval for the subdivision of SW 18-31-3 W2 in the RM of Keys as proposed by Darren and Elizabeth Stefaniszyn and John and Elizabeth Bahnuik in their June 5 application. The town was asked for approval because it owns property nearby.

Authorization was given to Randy Molyneaux, the Emergency Measures Organization (EMO) coordinator, to attend the Saskatchewan Amateur Radio League meetings to be held July 4 in Martensville.

During the June 2 meeting, Candace Doogan was appointed to the Canora Tourism Committee. Rona Seidle was appointed secretary for the Town of Sturgis appeals to the North East Board of Revision
