The issue of finding fun and educational activities to keep children preoccupied is a constant one for parents, but fortunately, a new childhood centre may help eliminate that problem.

The winners of the annual Canora branch of the Royal Canadian Legion poster and writing contest included many students from Canora Composite School, and on June 14, they were presented their plaques by members of the branch.

The 17 th Annual Charity Golf Classic, held at Yorkton June 11 and 12, was a huge success with golfers and sponsors raising enough money to buy 12 pieces of medical equipment for eight facilities in the region.
