Members of the Weyburn Arts Council met on a cold Thursday evening to start making new clay gnomes, to prepare for a new season of 鈥淩ollin鈥� with the Gnomies鈥�.

A man was arrested in relation to a shooting reported at a Weyburn residence, where one man was injured by a shot in a foot.

Dale Paslawski of the Weyburn Wildlife Federation made a presentation on wildlife that can mostly be found in the Weyburn or surrounding area, to clients at the Weyburn Wor-Kin Shop on Thursday. He had furs from coyote, fox, wolf. mink and a variety of antlers, along with tanned buckskin from a deer as he spoke about each animal and where they might be found.

All normal operations at the Weyburn General Hospital resumed on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 13, including reopening of the Emergency Department.
