The Weyburn Silver Seals speed swimming club hosted the south semi-finals on Saturday, with a full day of races at the outdoor pool at the Weyburn Leisure Centre. Swim clubs from throughout southern Saskatchewan converged to take part in the swim races under warm sunny skies.

The "College for Kids" summer program in Weyburn at Â鶹ÊÓƵeast College held a "Cake Boss" day on Thursday, where the kids made chef's hats and aprons, and decorated cupcakes, with the cupcakes judged by staff at the college. The top three designs were voted by all those who checked out the designs.
