The skies over the Weyburn exhibition grounds were lit up with colourful bursts of light as the City of Weyburn held their Canada Day fireworks show late on Monday evening. The show came after thunderstorms rolled through the Weyburn area, including one which carried a warning of possible tornadoes (none were reported officially), wrapping up a busy day of celebrating Canada's birthday.

The Weyburn, Lomond and Brokenshell 4-H Beef Clubs held their achievement days on Saturday, with Radville and Cymri holding theirs on Sunday, plus the 4-H Light Horse Show was held on Sunday. All of these were in preparation for the Regional 4-H Show which starts Monday and runs until Wednesday, July 3 at the Weyburn Fair.
