A public stake holder's meeting was held in Weyburn recently to discuss the possible need for a new facility to house a variety of programs that would serve the residents of the city and beyond. The event was hosted by the Weyburn Wor-Kin Shop Corp.

West Nile Virus-transmitting mosquitoes found in region

Small numbers of the Culex tarsalis mosquitoes, that can transmit West Nile Virus, were caught in some of the mosquito traps set up in Sun Country Health Region (SCHR) during the first week of June.
