The Marathon of Hope celebrated its 30th year in 2010 and Weyburn's Terry Fox Run celebrated its own 30-year anniversary. Weyburn's Terry Fox Run was held at River Park on September 19 and raised $565.

Report from the Weyburn Police Service for the period of September 13 to 19: *On September 19, police were called to assist in locating a missing resident from a local group home. The resident was located a short time later.

Wet conditions in the southeast have caused harvest operations to come to a standstill, with concerns for late-seeded crops being affected by a forecast of frost.

The Weyburn Police Service dealt with 186 occurrences over the week of Sept. 13-19, many of them alcohol related, with one item including a search for a missing resident, and a B&E at a local business.
