The Assiniboia Park Elementary School classes performed Christmas concerts on Dec. 20 and 21, twice each day. The French Immersion Kindergarten and Grades 1, 3, 4 and 5 did their concert on Tuesday, and the Kindergarten, French Immersion Grade 1 and 2/3, along with Grades 2 and 6, did their concerts on Wednesday. The Elf Jr. musical was performed each evening after the concerts.

APES Music Theatre to present Elf Junior musical Dec. 20-21

The Grades 4-6 Musical Theatre group at Assiniboia Park Elementary School will present the stage musical version of Elf, based on the book and movie, on Dec. 20 and 21 at 7:30 p.m. each night, directed by Kendra Gonczy. There will be no admission charge, but a silver collection will be taken at the door in support of the school's arts ed programs.
