Over 50 excited children in the two Grade 3 classrooms at St. Michael School put together their own projects based on their science unit study on magnetism and static electricity. On Jan. 31, each classroom visited the other to see what project each student did to demonstrate what magnetism is and can do.

Over 300 soccer players, coaches and managers on 32 teams came from Swift Current, Moose Jaw and Yorkton to play in the tournament, with Weyburn teams in most age divisions. The teams ranged from U9 up to U17-19.
