Vilcu's martial arts tourney returns big after three-year hiatus

The 38th annual Vilcu's International Martial Arts Championship was hosted in Weyburn for the first time in three years, with over 200 competitors from 21 clubs taking part. The day-long competition began with a Lion Dance ceremony, performed by the Canadian Hung Keun Association out of Regina, and Sifu Curtis Kautzman did a demo of having concrete bricks broken on his back with a sledgehammer. Competitors of all ages took part with six rings going simultaneously throughout the day.
