The City of Weyburn has agreed to lease a city-owned parcel of land to the Weyburn Humane Society for $1 a year for two years, for a new animal shelter.

There were adjudicated dances in various categories, and on Sunday afternoon there was a dance-off with cash prizes, with the top group routines competing in each age division.
