Last weekend we headed down to Minot and to be honest with you, in the back of my mind, I wondered if it was a good idea. I mean, I had heard the 'stories' about how the residents of Minot felt about the residents of Saskatchewan.

In the last couple of weeks I've come across so many of my personal pet peeves that I found it only fair to share them with you. I find that the five problems outlined below are greatly affecting our society and our daily lives.

It's a big year for our provincial parks. Our government recently announced that July 10th to 16th is Saskatchewan Parks Week and this year marks the 80th Anniversary of our provincial parks system.

I started doing a weekly column in 1985. Remember 1985? Yeah, me neither. For me, it was a blur of diapers and pureed squash and walking squalling babies around the house at 4AM to try to get them to sleep.

I love to laugh, don't you? A popular magazine tells us laughter is the best medicine, and in many ways it's true. I know people that I've never heard laughing, and that is very sad.
