Assiniboia Composite High School senior girl's basketball team are in 15th year of raising awareness and funds for cancer causes hosting their annual pink game weekend.

Athletes competed in solo and team events for figures, as well as junior free and technical solos.聽

The 87th edition of the competition will occur Feb. 7 in Estevan and Feb. 14 in Weyburn.

A total of 88 curlers on 22 teams took to the ice on Friday and Saturday for the 65th annual Weyburn Oilmen鈥檚 Bonspiel at the Weyburn Curling Rink.

A sale of specially-made doughnuts was held from Friday to Sunday at the Tim Horton鈥檚 store in Weyburn, with the proceeds going to the Special Olympics programs in Weyburn.
